The smoke detector OM-AC-A101 adopts the principle that particles in smoke refract infrared light to detect fires. The circuit is mainly composed of infrared transmitting part and receiving part, and the transmitting tube and receiving tube are placed in an optical maze. The optical maze can shield the interference of external stray light but does not affect the smoke entering. In the smoke-free state, only very weak infrared light is received, when there is smoke entering, due to the scattering effect, so that the received light signal is enhanced, when the smoke reaches a certain concentration, the alarm signal can be output. In order to reduce interference and power consumption, the transmitting circuit uses pulse mode to improve the service life of the transmitting tube.
This product is a non-encoded smoke detector equipped with a set of switchable output contacts that can be configured for either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) output, depending on specific requirements. In its normal operating mode, the indicator light flashes once every 8 seconds; in alarm conditions, the indicator light stays on continuously, and the alarm output contacts are triggered.
